Activision made a bit of a mistake today. In an email that was designed to promote Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s season pass the publisher accidentally included a previously unseen image that was later discovered to be named “dlc2-screen-zombies”. This lends credibility that it is a legitimate concept art image related to the zombies portion of the upcoming 2nd DLC pack for the game.
Here’s the image that was included in the email:
This image was also found on the company’s website but has since been removed (only further fueling the fact that it is indeed the real deal).
Unfortunately, we don’t have any further information about the upcoming zombies expansion at the time, but that isn’t stopping gamers from formulating their own theories based on the mistakenly released image. Fans are taking guesses about the location of the DLC ranging from a communications base to other wild shots in the dark.
NOTE: We get the feeling we may be seeing a trailer pop up for DLC 2 come tomorrow or next Tuesday. It’s just a guess – we have no confirmation – but we have a gut feeling it could happen.
