It’s official – the starting dates for the Black Ops 3 beta have been announced by Activision. It was originally told that players on the PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4 would be gain access to a beta upon pre-ordering the game. Then the news broke that PS4 users would get early access. Up until yesterday, though, no one knew exactly when the beta would be available.

Black Ops 3 Beta Dates

Activision announced that the BO3 beta would be from August 19th to August 23rd for Playstation 4 gamers. For Xbox One and PC gamers the beta will run a August 26th through August 30th. So, Playstation users don’t get too much of a jump on other gamers, nor do they get more time with the game.

According to the publisher the beta will feature all of the new specialists, have all the new maneuvers, and feature new multiplayer maps. Activision also stated that they will be releasing details regarding the available maps and game modes within the next few weeks.

Black Ops 3 officially launches on November 6th for the PS4, X1, and PC platforms. As mentioned above, if you’d like to participate in the beta you have to pre-order the game on one of these systems. As far as anyone knows there will not be a beta available on the Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 consoles.
