With the latest update to the game (version 1.08), all players across the Xbox One, PS4, and PC platforms now have free access to an originally pre-order exclusive map – Nuk3town – on Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. This is great news for fans that didn’t grab the game in time to get the fan-favorite remake, but may irritate those that specifically purchased BO3 ahead of launch for the bonus map.

Black Ops 3 Nuketown Remake

Nevertheless, the map is now available for play to all without any additional fee. According to various reports this does not apply to last-gen gamers, though. Sorry, PS3 and Xbox 360 players, it looks like Activision is determined to leave you out in the cold with Black Ops 3.

The Nuk3town map will be ready for play as soon as you install the update on your console or PC. It’s also being added into all multiplayer game mode rotations today. With this new addition we suspect Treyarch will be throwing another double XP weekend event up this week with a Nuk3town 24/7 playlist. This is just a guess – but we’re fairly certain it’s a very likely scenario.
