Black Ops 3: How to Unlock Dead Ops Arcade 2 for Play

Back in the very first Black Ops game, players discovered a nifty Easter egg that allowed them to play a cool little arcade-style mini-game called Dead Ops Arcade. The game involved playing a very retro-looking zombies title that was absurdly fun.

Well, this secret game has made a return in Black Ops 3. This time it is named Dead Ops 2 Arcade: Cyber’s Avenging. Getting access to the game requires just a few simple steps. We reveal exactly how to unlock it down below.

How to Unlock Dead Ops Arcade 2

In order to gain access to this awesome mini-game players must complete a couple of tasks. The first is finishing the first two levels of the campaign. Upon doing this, players will unlock the Safe House, a place where players are able to edit their campaign loadout, view collectibles obtained throughout the game, check out your campaign stats, and more.

To play Dead Ops players will need to go up to a terminal located in the Safe House which is known as the Data Vault. This is where you’d normally edit your emblem, choose a calling card, and do a few other things.

There is, however, another secret option that the screen doesn’t show right away.

If you simply hover over the Emblem button and then press up on your d-pad the selector will move to what appears to be a blank slot. Now press the jump button on your controller or keyboard. Once you do this you’ll see that a new menu item appears showing the name of the game – Dead Ops Arcade 2: Cyber’s Avenging. Press the button again to play it.

That’s literally all that you need to do to unlock this mini-game.

The game itself requires you to fight your way through waves of zombies until you die. There are various weapons and power-ups that can be obtained in-game to help you bust your way through wave after wave of the undead.

Another nifty addition to DO2 is the fact that you can actually get a power-up called First Person which puts you into first-person perspective to play the game. The power-up lasts for just 30 seconds and only appears on certain rounds, though.
