CoD AW ARX-160 Assault Rifle Overview

The ARX-160 assault rifle makes a return in Advanced Warfare. It was previously seen in Call of Duty: Ghosts. While the name is the same, the way the gun operates is very different. In Ghosts it was a fully automatic rifle with a decent rate of fire. In AW, however, it is a three-round burst firing rifle, not an auto.

The ARX deals moderate damage, the burst fire actually blasts out bullets at a very quick pace, and, if you’ve got a quick trigger finger, you can practically spray lead in an almost full-auto manner. Because the gun is a three-round burst it has very little recoil. The biggest flaw of this weapon is its range. It is highly ineffective in long range encounters.
